Elle incarne aussi la prise de conscience d’une mondialisation produite par la colonisation. |

The map also embodies an awareness of the globalisation produced by colonisation. |

Un mapa del ensanchamiento del horizonte geográfico al empezar el siglo XX Colonización • Europeanización • Geografía general • Historia de la geografía • Mundo acabado • PlanisferioEl mapa, titulado “planisferio enseñando el ensanchamiento progresivo del horizonte geográfico” constituye la primera ilustración del Tratado de geografía física de Emmanuel de Martonne y tiene varias finalidades: ilustrar la historia de la geografía y esclarecer las condiciones de una geografía general en el momento donde se estima conocer a la Tierra en su totalidad. Se trata también de tomar conciencia de la mundialización producida por la colonización. |
